“The Gray Matter record is brimming with advanced melodic ideas; alternatively, lush soundscapes of harmonic color flood the mind, creating a complimentary fusion I, personally, could only liken to that of a symphony. Gray’s distinctive snarl activates all senses and only his frantic guitar work can match it’s intensity. The songwriting is spirited and generally focused. Production ideas are subtle and appropriate. I recognize the absolute merit that exists in this record and approve of it. Take me to paradise, indeed.”
